Dietary Guidance Support

Nutrition, Diets and Public Health in the Restaurant Context

iAlacarte helps your guests understand the nutritional value of dishes, compare options and choose according to their declared dietary constraints. Guidance support, never medical advice.

Approach

How does iAlacarte help guests understand a dish's nutrition at a restaurant?

A dish's nutritional information rarely exists at the moment when it's actually useful: at the moment of choice. iAlacarte calculates an estimate based on declared ingredients and portions, and makes it legible directly within the conversation.

Guests can compare two starters, ask "which option is lighter," or adjust their meal to fit their personal goals.

Data

Calories, protein, carbs, fats, sodium

🔥

Energy

Estimated kilocalories for the portion served.

💪

Protein

Grams and share of the meal—useful for athletes and specific diets.

🍞

Carbohydrates

Total and share of added sugars when the information is available.

🥝

Fats

Total and share of saturated fats.

🧊

Sodium / salt

Crucial information for declared hypertension diets.

🌮

Fiber

Indicative when source ingredients can be identified.

Constraints

Declared dietary constraints

Guests can declare their constraints in natural language: "low sugar," "gluten-free," "reduced sodium," "vegetarian," "alcohol-free." iAlacarte filters accordingly and explains its recommendation in light of these declarations.

Constraints remain declarative: iAlacarte does not verify, judge or diagnose.

Limits

Nutritional education, never prescription

iAlacarte is a dietary guidance support tool. It does not diagnose, does not assess medical risk and does not substitute for the advice of a healthcare professional. Nutritional estimates are indicative and may differ from actual values depending on preparation.
Safeguards

Cautious responses for high-stakes situations

In cases of pregnancy, breastfeeding, severe allergy, chronic illness or strict medical diet, the AI heightens the caution of its response and invites the guest to confirm with the floor staff. It never guarantees the absence of risk.
