iAlacarte is not just another QR menu. It is a conversational assistant connected to your venue's actual menu: it welcomes guests in their language, answers their questions, filters out what they cannot eat, and suggests dishes, full menus and pairings — always based on what you serve.
A QR menu displays your menu. A generic chatbot answers, but does not know your menu. iAlacarte answers from your menu: dishes, prices, options, ingredients, allergens, estimated nutritional values, service hours.
It only suggests what you serve. When nothing matches the request, it says so rather than making something up.
A greeting in the guest's language, in your house style and suited to the time of day. Outside service hours, it says so and gives the reopening time.
Ingredients, allergens, calories, price, portion, diet, whether it is spicy: the answer comes from the dish record, with no guesswork.
Allergens, diets, health situations, unwanted ingredients: the guest declares them once, and the assistant applies them throughout the conversation.
Dishes based on the request (light, spicy, cheapest, high-protein, for sharing), or a full menu within a budget in euros or calories.
A wine from your cellar or a non-alcoholic drink for a named dish. The pairing printed on your menu takes priority.
Opening hours, address, phone number, daily special. Anything not provided is stated as such: “ask the team”.
You upload your menu as a PDF, Word document, Excel spreadsheet or photo (JPG, PNG). iAlacarte extracts its structure: sections, dishes, prices, options, supplements. Each dish is then described: ingredients, allergens, dish type, estimated nutritional values, photo.
From your dashboard, the “Check menu” screen flags anything the guest would see incorrectly (a missing price, for example), displays the menu as the guest sees it, and lets you edit a dish: name, ingredients, price, photo, section labels. Your edits are saved and reapplied if the menu is analysed again.
One menu is served per location. The daily specials board is published separately from a photo and remains in place when the menu changes.
You specify your venue's type (fine dining, brasserie, bistro, pizzeria, wine bar, cocktail bar, café, hotel restaurant…) and your preferred tone (classic, warm, premium, relaxed, minimalist, or automatic). The assistant adopts the right persona: Maître d'Hôtel, sommelier, barista, pizzaiolo, bar team or house team, and can use a first name.
The tone changes the wording. The facts — ingredients, allergens, prices — remain those of the menu. See Personas and tone.
Upload your menu, check it, serve it: your guests access it by QR code or link, in 27 languages.
